MUM & BABY FIT
Class announcement & information
I am very excited to be launching weekly classes at Wraysbury Village Halls every Wednesday at 11am. (starting January 18th)
I have plans to also add a 9.30am class if enough mums request it :)
How far pre natal can i be?Pre Natal Mums are welcome anytime within the trimesters however most choose to stop around 37 weeks. It is all about how you feel. I have trained some mums up to the day of delivery but others decide its best to them to stop earlier. It is just important to stay connected to your body and do whats right for you.
How soon can i come after having a baby?Post Natal mums must be minimum 6 weeks post birth and have been signed off by their GP first. I also recommend visiting a woman's health physio where possible for a more in depth check.
Can i bring my baby?Babies are welcome up to 6 months of age. It is up to you whether you want to keep them in the pram or have them with you on the mat or in your arms/ a strap while you are in class. Sessions are adaptable as we all know how unpredictable littles ones can be. But we keep it safe and make it work.
What type of exercise is the class?Classes are a fusion of functional training and pilates and all exercises are designed to keep you strong, mobile and pain free for motherhood. Theres nothing quite like the demands of a little one. And yes you can still work your core! We can do this safely together whether you are pre or post natal and no matter what type of birth you have had.
What is the class capacity ?The limit per class is 8 Mums.
How experienced is the trainer?Ambar has been specialising in Pre & Post natal training for the past 6 years. She has trained with UK leading level pre & post-natal schools and gained extra certification with further international recognition. She has dealt with all types of births and worked with mums through rehab and management of prolapse and diastasis recti.
What to i need to bring?Bring a water bottle and bring a fitness mat if you have your own, Everything else will be provided. I also have extra mats.
Where can i park and whats the postcode? The Green, Wraysbury, Staines TW19 5NA. Parking is just in the car park opposite.
